From the Author: I had questions that needed to be answered. No these were not the big questions in life, they were questions on an exam I was taking for a college course. Every answer I wrote had supporting Bible verses until the question concerning Satan. I had typed almost three pages when it dawned upon me that I had not offered a single verse of the Bible in support of my opinion. This was not good. My answer was purely opinion and tradition. This lack of support for my theories on Satan propelled me into a multi year Biblical study. Everything that I had been previously taught did not add up to what I was reading in the Bible. Then one day the first domino fell into place. It was an “a-hah” moment. That one truth lead to another truth. Suddenly questions that had nagged at the back of my mind for years were being answered. These ideas just had to be shared. Not all of my pastor friends agreed with me. Through a process of ‘iron sharpening iron” the ideas and understanding were refined into a new view of God, His creation, angels, demons, and even our nemesis of old, Satan. The truth is remarkably obvious. (At least now it is!) |
